April's 4th Monday Professional Development will be conducted by Lauren Brase from American Geosciences Institute! She will discuss a great summer in person professional development that is FREE to teachers!

She will also explain sustainable development:

As science educators strive to emphasize the relevance of STEM in the lives of their students and society, the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a powerful tool that has global significance. This webinar will introduce the SDGs and how they connect with the Next Generation Science Standards, specifically Earth and Space Science. We will share many hands-on activities and curriculum guides related to SDGs that address topics including climate action, energy, soils, water, and more. The webinar will highlight ways that “education for sustainable development,” which is a growing worldwide movement, can connect STEM education to students, their communities, and the world.

Sign up! This will be a great webinar!
