Thank you for your interest in the GSTA Awards and Grants.  We believe that it is important that excellence in science teaching is recognized and rewarded. GSTA members are encouraged to apply for these awards and/or nominate outstanding administrators and students. Thank you for recognizing and encouraging excellence in science teaching!

Applications for the GSTA Awards & Grants 2023-24 must be submitted by Thursday, November 30, 2023. Recipients will be notified in January 2024.

How to Apply?

Applicants must complete Parts 1 and 2.

Part 1: Click on the name of the award, scholarship or grant listed below to register for the application process. Applicants must meet the general criteria and guidelines to apply. After completing the registration process, applicants will receive a confirmation email containing a link to the online application.

Part 2: Refer to the GSTA Awards page to identify the application components for each specific award. Compose a single document with the information for each section. The information should be in section order following the general guidelines. Using the link provided in the registration confirmation email, complete the online application and upload your document as the last item in the application.
