Executive Secretary/Treasurer: Nancy Brim
Nancy began teaching at Miller Grove Junior High (later Middle School) in DeKalb County in 1990. For six years, she taught physical science, earth science, and integrated science. A move to DeKalb's Lakeside High School in 1997 began a career teaching all levels of chemistry and a Georgia High School Graduation Test Prep class for juniors and seniors. In 2015, she and her husband Peter moved to Athens and she began working at East Jackson Comprehensive High School teaching honors biology, physical science, general chemistry, and earth systems. She retired from fulltime teaching in 2019 and currently works part-time at Foothills Regional High School - Jackson. She has served as High School representative, Secretary, Vice President, and conference store manager for the Georgia Science Teachers Association before being appointed the Executive Secretary/Treasurer in 2017.
