District 10 Director: Poornima Amarapu

Welcome to GSTA District 10,  

My name is Poornima Amarapu, and I am happy to represent you all in district 10. I am a high school science teacher working in Dekalb County Schools.  I specialize in Biology, AP Biology, Environmental Science, IB Biology(HL and SL) and have 10 years of teaching experience. My goal is to support science teachers in the district with resources or professional development as they work to provide awesome learning experiences for their students.  I am currently attending Valdosta State University working toward my Specialist degree in teacher leadership. Collaboration is the key to success in bringing student growth and achievement and I look forward to work with you all.
