Dr. Stephanie Westhafer is a gubernatorial appointee to the Georgia Council on Literacy. The Council is charged with reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations related to Georgia's statewide literacy legislation and policy. Dr. Westhafer is one of four teachers on the 31-member council. Dr. Westhafer is a 1st-grade teacher at West Jackson Elementary School, and she is the incoming Elementary Representative on the GSTA Board.
