Please consider serving on the Georgia Science Teachers Association Executive Board.

GSTA Board Member Expectations:

-Promote Science Education in the state of Georgia

-Serve as a connection to the various GSTA districts of the state and the GSTA board to promote effective science education in Georgia.

-Assist with GSTA events such as the annual conference and e-newsletter. Some travel support will be provided for GSTA board members to attend the annual GSTA conference. In Feb, 2014, the GSTA conference is scheduled for Macon, GA.

-Attend 4-5 GSTA Board meetings during the year, typically scheduled for Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.

-Assist and lead in the various GSTA organizational duties such as awards selection.
